A study conducted by an AI firm reveals that a majority of Americans believe AI tools are enhancing their lives. Three out of five respondents reported a significant improvement in their quality of life due to AI use. Additionally, one in six individuals expressed a dependence on AI, stating they could not manage without it.

The study, surveyed each US state and found that ChatGPT is the most widely used AI tool, with 77.97% of Americans utilizing it. Google Translate follows as the second most popular tool at 44.89% usage, with Gemini at 33.23%. Americans reported using these tools most commonly for writing and editing tasks (62.77%), conducting online searches (61.47%), and summarizing text (42.77%). Other notable uses include brainstorming (39%) and generating art (32.09%).

Approximately 60% of respondents indicated using AI at least once a week. Furthermore a third said that their using of AI tools increased a lot during the past year. The states exhibiting the highest reliance on AI are Oregon, Florida, and Arizona based on a reliance scores. Conversely, Missouri, Mississippi, and Rhode Island demonstrated the lowest AI reliance. The study suggests that AI adoption is not limited to specific regions like the North East or West Coast but is prevalent across the entire nation.
