New iPhone SE 4: What to Expect

Apple is expected to announce a new iPhone SE model soon, possibly as early as next week, with a market release following a month later. This new model, the iPhone SE 4, is anticipated to incorporate significant updates, moving away from the older design of its predecessor.

The iPhone SE 4 will resemble the iPhone 14, featuring a USB-C port, no Home button, and a standard notch. It’s expected to include the A18 chipset, the same as the iPhone 16 series.

Retail employees have noted decreasing stock of the current iPhone SE 3, suggesting an imminent release of the new version. While the iPhone SE 3 is currently priced at $429 online, the updated model is expected to be more expensive, potentially around $500. This price increase reflects the improved hardware and software, positioning the iPhone SE 4 as an appealing price point for people who want the basic functions.

The launch of the new iPhone SE is unlikely to involve a formal event. It may coincide with the release of new PowerBeats Pro 2 earbuds.
