AMD’s FSR 4 technology, a competitor to Nvidia’s DLSS, is gaining ground but still lags behind in terms of gaming support. Despite AMD’s efforts to increase FSR 4 support, Nvidia remains several steps ahead.

Recently, AMD added six new games supporting FSR 4, a relatively small number compared to the extensive list of games compatible with Nvidia’s DLSS technology. However, AMD is expected to make significant announcements at Computex, including a list of new FSR 4 partnerships.

If AMD can secure FSR 4 support for a large number of new games, it could potentially sway gamers who currently prefer Nvidia. This is particularly important with the release of less powerful graphics cards like the RX 9060.

FSR 4 is not limited to graphics cards, as AMD’s upcoming APUs, such as the Z2 for consoles, could also benefit from the technology. The company plans to focus on publishers to gain an advantage over Nvidia, which is ahead in terms of gaming support.

However, Nvidia’s lead may be threatened by issues with driver stability and reliability, which have been reported since the beginning of 2025. AMD may capitalize on these concerns to gain ground in the market.

AMD’s keynote address at Computex is expected to feature major gaming product announcements, including potential updates on FSR 4 partnerships and new APUs.
