realme has introduced its latest smartphone, the realme P3 Ultra, in Malaysia, marking the debut of the brand’s P Series in the country. The launch signals realme’s intent to strengthen its presence in the mid-range smartphone segment, targeting Malaysian consumers who prioritise style, performance, and advanced technology in a single device.

The realme P3 Ultra will be available exclusively on realme’s official e-commerce platforms, with early buyers enjoying a launch price of RM1,399 through TikTok Shop from 17 to 19 June 2025. The device’s recommended retail price is RM1,699. Consumers purchasing the phone during the promotion period will also receive a free gift bundle valued at RM349, which includes a voucher and an extended warranty, subject to availability.

One of the device’s most notable features is its Glow-in-the-Dark design, claimed as the world’s first for smartphones. The design is achieved using a starlight ink process that incorporates thousands of star-like particles, creating a unique 3D effect. The phone’s surface reveals a starlit gradient that changes under different lighting conditions, and in the dark, the colour shifts to a green halo. The back cover uses micro-sculpting techniques to emulate a lunar soil texture, providing a distinctive tactile experience. The Cosmic Star Ring decoration around the camera module enhances the visual impression, drawing inspiration from outer space.

In addition to its distinctive appearance, the realme P3 Ultra is engineered for ergonomics. The phone measures just 7.38mm in thickness, making it the slimmest in its segment according to realme. The thin profile, coupled with ultra-narrow bezels and a rounded curvature, aims to ensure comfort and reduce hand fatigue, even with prolonged use.

Under the hood, the P3 Ultra is powered by the Dimensity 8350 Ultra chipset, utilising the Dimensity 9300-generation NPU architecture. The device achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score exceeding 1.45 million, placing it among the higher performers in its price category. This performance enables smooth gameplay at 120 frames per second in popular mobile games such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang for up to six hours, according to company data. The smartphone comes equipped with 12GB of RAM, enabling users to multitask efficiently, including the ability to open up to 30 applications within 95 seconds.

Video and photography capabilities are another key focus. The realme P3 Ultra is equipped with a MediaTek Imagiq 980 camera system, supporting 4K video recording at 60 frames per second for up to 30 minutes without experiencing lag or overheating. For still photography, the main camera uses a 50-megapixel Sony IMX896 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). This sensor, the largest in its segment at 1/1.56 inches, is designed to deliver clearer and brighter photos, particularly in low-light conditions. The AI-powered camera suite offers additional features such as AI Livephoto in 2K and AI Snap Shot for enhanced portrait photography. Quad Bayer coding technology helps to reduce noise and improve clarity in zoomed images and video.

Battery performance is a major selling point for the device. The P3 Ultra includes a 6000mAh battery, the largest capacity in its class for an ultra-slim phone. According to realme, the battery supports up to ten hours of continuous gaming on a single charge. The phone also features 80W Ultra Charge technology, allowing users to recharge quickly and efficiently. To manage heat during heavy use, the P3 Ultra incorporates a Bionic Cooling System with the largest vapour chamber cooling area in its class, expanded by 34% over the previous P2 Pro model. The cooling system, constructed from aerospace-grade materials, is engineered to keep the CPU up to 19 degrees Celsius cooler and to maintain gaming temperatures 3.8 degrees Celsius lower than comparable devices.

For display, the device features a 1.5K Quad-Curved AMOLED screen, which realme claims is unique in its segment. The display includes ultra-narrow bezels, measuring just 1.6mm, and offers vibrant colours, deep blacks, and smooth scrolling. The screen supports 3840Hz pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimming for comfortable viewing in low-light conditions, helping to reduce eye strain.

The realme P3 Ultra will be available in Malaysia from 16 to 30 June 2025 through the brand’s official Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop platforms. Early buyers on TikTok Shop from 17 to 19 June will benefit from a reduced launch price and an exclusive warranty extension, while stocks last and subject to terms and conditions.
