Infinix XBAND smartband

Infinix, a technology brand recognized for its focus on young and style-driven users, has introduced a new product to the Malaysian market with the launch of the Infinix XBAND. The device is a lightweight, minimalist smartband intended to help users track and manage their health and daily activities.

The Infinix XBAND arrives at a time when personal health and fitness technology is gaining increasing traction in Malaysia. The new wearable, weighing just 24 grams and measuring only 8.99mm in thickness, is designed for comfort and ease of use, making it suitable for extended wear throughout the day. With its slim profile and understated appearance, the XBAND is marketed as a practical accessory for both everyday and active lifestyles.

At the core of the XBAND is a 1.57-inch full touch HD color display, providing users with clear visuals and an intuitive interface. This display works in tandem with the My Health app, allowing users to track key health indicators such as heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO₂) levels, sleep quality, stress levels, and even menstrual cycle data. The device also includes features such as breathing exercises and supports over 100 different workout modes, catering to a broad range of fitness activities from running and cycling to yoga and strength training.

With the aim of supporting a diverse range of user needs, the XBAND emphasizes not only health tracking but also adaptability to different lifestyles. The device is particularly aimed at users who maintain busy schedules and require reliable tools to manage wellness on the go. Its lightweight construction is matched by a durable build, using materials such as zinc-aluminium alloy, polycarbonate, and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, which are commonly associated with strength and comfort in wearable technology.

The XBAND’s battery life is another notable feature. It houses a 230mAh lithium polymer battery that promises up to 12 days of usage on a single charge. The smartband can be fully recharged within two hours via a magnetic charging port, a design intended to minimize downtime and maximize convenience for users who may not have frequent opportunities to recharge their devices.

Durability is further reinforced by the XBAND’s IP68 rating, signifying a high level of resistance to dust and water. This certification allows users to wear the device in various environments, including during intense workouts, outdoor activities, or in conditions where exposure to water or sweat is likely.

Personalization options are a key selling point of the XBAND. The device is available in an elegant Moonlight Silver color, and users have access to over 100 different watch face designs, allowing them to tailor the smartband’s appearance to match different moods or occasions. In addition, Infinix is offering wrist strap blind boxes, providing an element of surprise and style customization for users who wish to further personalize their devices.

The Infinix XBAND will be available for purchase both online and offline in Malaysia starting from Wednesday, 16 July 2025. Online buyers can access the device through official Infinix stores on platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Offline purchases can be made at Infinix brand stores across the country. The recommended retail price for the device is set at RM169.
