AKASO Keychain 2 launches as pocket sized 4K action camera
Global action camera brand AKASO has released the Keychain 2, a compact action camera designed to balance portability and high performance. Weighing just 86 grams, the Keychain 2 delivers 4K video at 30 frames per second and up to 20 megapixel photos, displayed on a 1.3 inch touchscreen. It uses 6 axis stabilization to provide smooth footage even during fast movement, making it suitable for sports, outdoor activities and daily use.
The camera includes multiple creative modes such as time lapse, hyperlapse, slow motion, driving mode, burst shots, and light painting. Its 1050mAh battery supports up to 180 minutes of filming in 1080P resolution. Rated IPX6 for water resistance, the device can withstand demanding conditions and, when used with its waterproof case, can operate up to 30 meters underwater.
The Keychain 2 also supports external Type C microphones for professional audio, MicroSD cards up to 256GB, and offers a webcam mode with 1080P output. A pre recording function allows users to capture footage from 10 to 30 seconds before pressing record. Priced at RM799, it is available on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.
