Pavilion REIT Malls Merdeka 2025

Pavilion REIT Malls have launched a series of celebrations across Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Pavilion Bukit Jalil and Intermark Mall to mark Malaysia’s Independence Day and Malaysia Day. Running until 16 September 2025, the festivities highlight Malaysia’s heritage, unity and multicultural pride through art, music, fitness and cultural showcases.

At Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, the campaign themed Inilah Kita celebrates Merdeka with cultural performances, art installations and entertainment in collaboration with the Ministry of National Unity. A key highlight is Seni Persahabatan, a collaborative mural created by Izzati Suza, Riynn Lee and Karthine Maniam, symbolising Malaysia’s cultural harmony. The mall also hosted the gala premiere of Pavane For An Infant by award-winning filmmaker Chong Keat Aun, drawing more than 11,000 attendees. Upcoming attractions include the Hello Inilah Kita showcase on 23–24 August 2025, featuring well-known Malaysian and international artists. Shoppers who spend RM500 in a single receipt can redeem an exclusive Pavilion Crystal Fountain Coaster Set.

Pavilion Bukit Jalil’s campaign Together. We Celebrate brings fitness and unity to the spotlight with free classes including yoga, dance and HIIT, alongside the Li-Ning Sports Day from 26–31 August. Visitors can try pickleball at the mall and meet national sports icons on 30 August. A complimentary 5KM Merdeka Fun Run will also take place on 30 August. The mall presents Tinta Merdeka, an exhibition featuring fashion-art pieces created by UCSI students with Malaysian batik textiles, alongside workshops, cultural games and a handicraft bazaar. Pavilion Privileges members can enjoy additional rewards such as movie tickets, an art collage project and a Merdeka Ice Skating event.

Intermark Mall hosts Serasa Merdeka, celebrating food, fashion and culture until 7 September. Highlights include student performances, the “Heritage in Motion” fashion showcase, and the Serasa Market Bazaar with artisanal foods, crafts and local art.
