Amazfit launches rugged T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch

Amazfit, a global smart wearable brand owned by Zepp Health, has launched the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro, the latest addition to its T-Rex 3 series. The smartwatch is built for trail runners, endurance athletes, and outdoor adventurers, offering upgraded materials, mapping features, and enhanced durability.
The T-Rex 3 Pro comes with a scratch-resistant sapphire glass display and titanium alloy bezel and buttons, providing stronger protection compared to stainless steel. It is available in two case sizes, 48 mm and 44 mm, and is designed to withstand extreme conditions, including temperatures as low as -30°C. The device also features a dual-colour LED flashlight with multiple modes, including boost brightness, red light for night visibility, and SOS alerts.
The smartwatch is equipped with a 1.5-inch AMOLED display on the 48 mm model and a 1.32-inch screen on the 44 mm version, offering up to 3000 nits of peak brightness for clear visibility under sunlight. It also integrates a speaker and microphone, allowing Bluetooth calling and hands-free communication.
For navigation, the watch supports dual-band GPS and six satellite systems. It includes offline maps with turn-by-turn directions, smart rerouting, route creation, and ski resort details. With over 180 sports modes, including trail running, scuba diving, and strength training, it also introduces HYROX race modes. The BioCharge system monitors workouts, recovery, and stress to help athletes optimise performance.
Battery life extends up to 25 days for the 48 mm model and 17 days for the 44 mm. The T-Rex 3 Pro integrates with the Amazfit ecosystem through the Zepp App, which connects with Helio Strap and Helio Ring, providing health, fitness, and sleep data without subscription fees. It is compatible with both Android and iOS.
Pre-orders opened on 8 September 2025, priced at RM1,799. A launch promotion offers the device for RM1,749 with a complimentary gift. It is available on Amazfit’s official website and retail partners such as Shopee and Lazada, with prices varying by region.
