Amazon’s Blink brand has introduced a new lineup of security devices aimed at enhancing smart home protection through significant improvements in image clarity, coverage, and usability. These new devices include the Blink Outdoor 2K+, Blink Mini 2K+, and Blink Arc, developed in response to consumer demand for simple yet powerful security solutions that are both accessible and effective.
The Blink Outdoor 2K+ stands out for its crisp 2K video resolution, which gives homeowners clearer visuals compared to previous generations. The device includes a 4x zoom, noise-canceling two-way audio, and smart notifications for person or vehicle detection—although these advanced notification features require a Blink Subscription Plus Plan. In addition, the camera’s battery lifespan is significantly extended by Blink’s proprietary silicon chip design, and the unit can be placed almost anywhere thanks to the Weather Shield housing. These improvements aim to provide comprehensive surveillance of outdoor areas, whether monitoring driveways, gardens, or entrances.
For indoor needs, Blink has launched the Blink Mini 2K+, a compact camera delivering the same 2K resolution in a space-saving device.
