Samsung launches Galaxy A17 and A07 in Malaysia
Samsung Electronics has announced the arrival of its latest Galaxy A series smartphones, the Galaxy A17 5G/LTE and Galaxy A07 LTE, in Malaysia. The new models are designed to deliver advanced features, sleek designs, and reliable security at affordable prices.
The Galaxy A17 introduces AI-powered tools such as Gemini activation, Gemini Live, and Circle to Search with Google, giving users easier ways to interact with apps and search for information. It is equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a triple camera setup including a 50MP main camera with improved image stabilization for low-light photography. Both the A17 and A07 run on upgraded processors for smoother multitasking, gaming, and streaming.
Battery performance has been improved, with long-lasting capacity and 25W fast charging. Samsung has also committed to six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates for both models. Security is further enhanced with Samsung Knox Vault, Theft Protection, and Auto Blocker, ensuring data safety and device reliability.
Durability has been reinforced with glass fiber reinforced polymer bodies, Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the Galaxy A17, and IP54 dust and water resistance. Despite these upgrades, the phones maintain slim and lightweight designs, with the A17 at 7.5mm and the A07 at 7.6mm thick.
The Galaxy A17 5G is available in Black, Gray, and Blue from 5 September 2025, priced from RM799 after rebates. The Galaxy A07 LTE launches in Light Violet, Green, and Black from the same date, with the Galaxy A17 LTE available from 26 September 2025. Buyers during the launch period will receive exclusive offers including rebates, extended warranties, complimentary travel adapters, discounted Galaxy Buds Core, and reduced prices on mobile accessories.
