Bullish Aim Launches Ringgit Stablecoin RMJDT

Bullish Aim Sdn. Bhd., a private company owned by the Regent of Johor, Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, has launched RMJDT, a digital stablecoin backed by the Malaysian Ringgit. The announcement marks a private sector initiative in blockchain-based digital currency within Malaysia’s financial technology landscape.
The stablecoin operates on Zetrix, the Layer-1 blockchain that forms the foundation of the Malaysia Blockchain Infrastructure. RMJDT has been launched within a regulated sandbox framework, allowing the project to operate under oversight while testing innovative financial technology applications.
The initiative aims to expand the international reach of the Malaysian Ringgit in cross-border trade settlements. The company expects the stablecoin to serve as a tool for attracting foreign direct investment into Malaysia. The token will be backed by local currency cash deposits and short-term Malaysian government bonds.
Alongside the stablecoin launch, Bullish Aim will establish a Digital Asset Treasury Company with an initial allocation of RM500 million in Zetrix tokens. The company plans to expand this treasury to RM1 billion. This treasury structure follows models used by international companies and will help maintain stable network gas fees for RMJDT transactions.
The Digital Asset Treasury Company will also participate in staking Zetrix tokens to support up to 10 percent of validator nodes within the Malaysia Blockchain Infrastructure. This approach is designed to strengthen network security and operational efficiency while reinforcing the blockchain ecosystem.
Zetrix functions as a Layer-1 public blockchain developed by Zetrix AI Berhad, previously known as MY E.G. Services Bhd. The blockchain platform enables smart contracts and emphasizes privacy, security and scalability. Its infrastructure supports cross-border and cross-chain integration, positioning it as a gateway for global trade through Web3 services including Blockchain-based Identifiers and Verifiable Credentials.
