Minisforum BD895i SE Launches With AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX CPU
Minisforum has officially launched the BD895i SE, a new mini-ITX motherboard featuring the AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX processor. The board enters the market at a sale price of $423.90, reduced from its regular price of $529.00, representing a savings of $105.10 for early adopters.
The BD895i SE is built around the AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX, a 16-core processor from the Dragon Range Refresh lineup based on Zen 4 architecture. The chip operates with 32 threads and can reach boost frequencies up to 5.4 GHz, with a thermal design power of 100 watts that extends to 120 watts during maximum turbo operations.
Memory support includes dual DDR5 SO-DIMM slots capable of handling up to 96GB of RAM at 5200 MHz speeds. Storage expansion comes through two M.2 2280 slots supporting PCIe 4.0 x4 interfaces, allowing users to install up to 4TB of total solid-state storage capacity. The board includes an integrated AMD Radeon 610M graphics processor but accommodates discrete graphics cards through a full-speed PCIe 5.0 x16 expansion slot.
Display connectivity enables triple-screen configurations with support for 8K resolution at 60Hz refresh rates through three independent outputs. The rear panel features HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode.
