General Tire Launches New Range in Malaysia Market

Continental Tyre Malaysia has officially launched the General Tire brand in the Malaysian replacement market. General Tire, known for its durability and reliable performance, is designed to serve Asian drivers with a range of tyres for passenger cars, SUVs, MPVs, and 4×4 pickups. The brand, which has over 100 years of heritage and became part of Continental in 1987, combines a legacy of toughness with Continental’s advanced German technology for lasting performance.

The initial product range offered in Malaysia includes the Altimax GC5, Altimax GS6, Grabber AT6, and Grabber HT6 models. These tyres span sizes from 14 to 20 inches, covering a broad spectrum of vehicles from everyday cars to off-road pickups. Each model emphasizes specific performance features such as low noise, fuel efficiency, strong grip, shorter braking distances, comfort, longevity, and off-road handling.

General Tire aims to provide reliable and performance-focused tyres that offer value for money. The brand is positioned to meet the needs of adventurous drivers who seek dependable tyres for various driving conditions.

The tyres are available through authorised Continental dealers nationwide and on digital platforms including Shopee, TNG eWallet, and Lazada. Continental Tyre Malaysia supports the brand with integrated marketing efforts and strong dealer network backing.
