Lenovo unveils Legion gaming lineup in Malaysia 2025

Lenovo introduced its latest Legion portfolio in Malaysia, showcasing a wide range of gaming devices equipped with AI performance tuning, advanced cooling systems and immersive display technologies. The Lenovo Legion Hands-On Event highlighted products designed to meet the growing demand for smarter and more powerful gaming experiences.

The Lenovo Legion Pro series was presented as the flagship choice for competitive gamers, featuring the Legion Pro 7i and Legion Pro 5i. Both models combine Intel Core Ultra processors with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, delivering desktop-class performance in portable form. The Legion Pro 7i is configurable up to the RTX 5090 with a 16-inch OLED display running up to 240 Hz, while the Legion Pro 5i offers up to RTX 5070 graphics and a 165 Hz OLED display. Both devices are supported by Lenovo’s Coldfront Hyper thermal system, which uses oversized copper heat pipes and turbocharged fans for sustained performance.

The event also introduced the Legion 9i, Lenovo’s most powerful gaming laptop to date, equipped with liquid cooling, a lightweight forged carbon design and an 18-inch 4K PureSight display with optional 2K 3D support. This feature allows designers and gamers to view 3D content without the need for special glasses. The Legion 7i was presented as a thinner and lighter option for STEM students, while the Legion 5i was positioned as a portable choice for university gamers in non-STEM programs.

Expanding beyond traditional laptops, Lenovo also highlighted its next-generation handhelds. The Legion Go 2, launching in October, is powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 processor and features an 8.8-inch OLED display with detachable controllers for portable PC-level gaming. The Legion Tab Gen 3, powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, offers compact gaming with Ray Tracing and up to 165 FPS performance.

Lenovo further introduced Legion Glasses Gen 2, which project a private 126-inch virtual screen using micro-OLED technology, designed for immersive on-the-go gaming and streaming. All devices are bundled with Legion Space, a unified gaming hub that centralizes device settings, libraries and AI-powered enhancements.

The new lineup is available now in Malaysia through Lenovo Exclusive Stores, with prices starting at RM6,499 for the Legion 5i and going up to RM21,999 for the Legion 9i. The Legion Go 2 will be available in mid-October with a starting price of RM5,399.
