Infinix XPAD 20 launches in Malaysia with AI features and eye care

Infinix has announced the launch of its latest tablet, the XPAD 20, targeting young consumers in Malaysia with a strong focus on modern learning, creativity, and connectivity. The new device, available beginning July 8, 2025, is designed to meet the everyday needs of students and young professionals through a combination of advanced features and accessible pricing.
The XPAD 20 comes equipped with an 11-inch Full High Definition Plus (FHD+) Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) that emphasizes eye protection. Its TÜV Rheinland-certified Eye Care technology reduces blue light emission to minimize visual fatigue, an important consideration for users who spend extended hours reading, studying, or streaming content. The screen also features a 90Hz refresh rate, which delivers smoother visuals and improves the overall viewing experience.
Infinix is positioning the XPAD 20 as a device that supports smarter learning and productivity through a suite of AI-powered features. The tablet introduces the Folax voice assistant, which allows hands-free operation for various daily tasks. With AI Multimodal Content Search and One-Tap Screen Inquiry, users can search for information across different formats—including images, documents, and web pages—without switching between applications. Other AI capabilities include an AI-Powered Homework Solver, Image-to-Document Conversion, and AI Image Generation, which help students manage assignments, extract notes, and create digital content more efficiently.
The tablet also offers AI Screen Recognition, enabling users to convert non-selectable text, such as content from screenshots or scanned PDFs, into editable material. This function streamlines the process of capturing, saving, and using information from a variety of sources without requiring multiple steps or apps.
Given Malaysia’s multilingual and multicultural environment, the XPAD 20’s real-time AI Translation feature is intended to facilitate cross-language communication. The device can translate text captured by the camera or highlighted in documents, maintaining original formatting for convenience. In-app translation enables users to communicate in multiple languages within social media and messaging platforms, while live translation supports two-way conversations, both online and offline.
Multi-Device Collaboration is another highlight of the XPAD 20, allowing seamless file transfers and co-creation across smartphones, laptops, and the tablet itself. This feature is particularly useful for hybrid learning environments, mobile productivity, and multitasking on the go.
The XPAD 20 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 processor and supports 4G LTE connectivity. With up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage—expandable up to 1TB—the device aims to deliver dependable performance for everyday productivity, large file management, and responsive multitasking. It runs on Android 15, with a promise of two years of security patch updates for ongoing reliability.
Infinix is making the XPAD 20 available in two configurations: a 128GB storage model with 6GB RAM priced at RM599, and a 256GB storage model with 8GB RAM priced at RM799. Both variants offer promotional bundles at launch, including a free tablet cover for the 128GB version and a cover plus keyboard for the 256GB model, available while stocks last. The device comes in three color options—Stellar Grey, Forest Green, and Dreamy Purple—appealing to different personal preferences.
The XPAD 20 will be sold both online and offline. Online sales are available through Infinix’s official stores on TikTok Shop, while offline purchases can be made at Infinix Brand Stores and authorized dealers throughout Malaysia.
